Overview
These Sports Betting Rules govern all wagers placed with Dada8. By placing a bet you acknowledge and accept these terms, along with applicable product terms and any promotional conditions that apply to your wager. Eligibility requires compliance with age and identity checks, and certain jurisdictions may impose additional restrictions on participation.
Definitions
- Bet: an agreement to accept the price and conditions on a selected market for a specified stake.
- Market: a discrete bet on a sporting event or its outcome.
- Official Result: the outcome published by the relevant governing body or official source, or, in the absence of such data, the result as determined by Dada8 using accepted procedures.
- Non-Runner: a participant that does not take part in the event.
- Void: a bet that is invalidated under these rules.
Bet Acceptance and Settlement
A bet becomes valid when accepted by Dada8's systems and a unique transaction identifier is generated. Settlement uses official statistics provided by the competition or, if unavailable or unreliable, independent data. In the absence of reliable data, Dada8 may settle bets based on its own statistics. Winnings are credited when settlements are processed in accordance with these rules.
In-Play (Live) Betting
In-Play bets are subject to real-time developments. Bets may be void or rejected if a material advantage has been gained through manipulation or if the market is suspended. Markets may be settled according to the event's live progression or the final official result, depending on the terms of the specific market. Where a market is determined before full event completion, settlement reflects the decision at the time of official confirmation.
Market Integrity and Void Bets
If the outcome or eligibility of a market cannot be verified officially, Dada8 will void the market. If an event is abandoned, suspended, or not completed, unsettled markets are treated in accordance with the applicable rule set and the final official outcome. Where discrepancies arise due to incorrect prices or display, Dada8 reserves the right to void the affected market. In the absence of official data, Dada8 may rely on its own statistics to determine settlement.
Non-Runners and Market Adjustments
Markets involving non-runners, substitutions, or withdrawals may be adjusted as follows: a void selection is removed from a multiple bet and the remaining selections are settled normally. In a multi-bet, the overall return is recalculated in proportion to the surviving selections.
Dead Heat Rules
- Two-way dead heat: the stake is split and returned proportionally between winners and losers (e.g., 50/50).
- Three- or multi-way dead heat: returns are divided proportionally among the winners, with the remainder treated as losses according to the number of winners and places.
European Handicap and Other Markets
European Handicap offers a three-way framework with an integer goal difference. The handicap is applied to the home team by default to avoid draws. Examples illustrate how a home team could win, draw, or lose while the handicap is in effect. The aim is to render a decisive market even when teams have disparate strengths.
Special Markets and Market-Specific Rules
- First Goalscorer / Anytime Goalscorer: bets settle on players who participate from kick-off; own goals are generally excluded from settlement for First Goalscorer. If a player is not on the field for the match, bets on that player may be voided.
- Penalty shootouts: penalties are not counted unless stated otherwise in the market rules.
- Horse Racing – Double Result: settlements reflect the first-past-the-post outcome and the official result after any steward inquiries or objections, with concessions applied to ensure customer-friendly settlements within the stated maximums.
Cash Out and Partial Cash Out
Dada8 may offer Cash Out on selected events, fixtures, and markets. Cash Out allows you to settle a bet before the event finishes, partially or in full, subject to availability. Cash Out offers may be unavailable for certain markets or promotions. The Cash Out amount is not affected by the final result; it is the amount returned if the Cash Out request is successful. A time delay may apply to processing. If a market changes or is suspended, a Cash Out request may fail. Free bets generally do not count toward Cash Out or partial Cash Out.
Disputes, Verification, and Logging
In the event of a dispute, the transaction logs maintained by Dada8 shall be the definitive record. Dada8 reserves the right to suspend, delay, or reverse settlements if required to protect the integrity of the wagering system. Any decisions referencing market times, results, or statistics will rely on the official source, supplemented by Dada8’s independent verification where necessary.
Audience, Eligibility, and Responsible Gambling
Participation is limited to eligible individuals who are of legal age in their jurisdiction. Dada8 conducts identity and age verification as part of account creation and ongoing compliance. Loss limits, self-exclusion, and other responsible gambling measures may apply and are described in the general terms of use and licensing disclosures.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Sports Betting Rules are governed by the licensing jurisdiction under which Dada8 operates. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the applicable governing law and the procedures of the relevant regulatory authority.
